Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FormQ (formq.dev and its subdomains), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our service.

Description of Service

FormQ is a developer-first form platform that provides tools for creating, managing, embedding, and collecting form submissions. The service includes a REST API, a web dashboard, an embeddable widget, and developer documentation.

User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account or API keys with unauthorized parties. One person may create multiple organizations but must not create duplicate accounts.

Usage Limits

The service enforces the following limits to ensure fair usage for all users:

• API rate limits: 1,000 requests/hour per user, 100 submissions/hour per form, 1,000 requests/hour per API key
• File uploads: 2MB for avatars, 5MB for logos, 10MB for attachments, 50MB for workspace files
• We reserve the right to throttle or suspend accounts that consistently exceed fair usage patterns

Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use FormQ for:

• Any illegal activities or to collect data in violation of applicable laws
• Spamming, scraping, or automated abuse of the platform
• Distributing malware, viruses, or malicious code through forms
• Phishing, impersonation, or deceptive practices

Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of all data you create on FormQ, including form schemas, configurations, and collected responses. FormQ does not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. You may export your data at any time in CSV or JSON format.

Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time via Settings > Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or our Acceptable Use Policy. Upon termination, all associated data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

Limitation of Liability

FormQ is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
